Paper bead update - at long last

It has been a while since I released some new beads. There should have been a new collection in the spring but my mojo just couldn't handle it. So they were abandoned. Now, at long last, I have created some autumn themed paper beads. Harvest, trees, fruit and all things autumn. Autumn is my favourite time of year and I think that helped me choose these images. They have certainly been very popular so far.

Springtime paper beads

I had hoped to have a few more sets of paper beads to release this spring but life sometimes gets in the way. They were supposed to be available at the start of April but my sister was in a car accident and it was all hands on deck to deal with family stuff. Thankfully she is OK but the car was a write off.

Anyway, back to the beads. One set is reminiscent of a Moroccan pond in the moonlight - and called Moroccan Moonlight. There is something about Morocco's art and architecture that I just love.

The second set is Celtic Inspired. The pattern reminds me of Medieval manuscripts with its flowing leafy vines and bright colours. These ones are in green, pink and purple with a distressed vintage background.

As always, they are available in my Etsy store

Proof of new bead designs

Proof that, at long last, new bead designs are being created They should have been released in late summer but due to some personal issues (which I hope to blog about soon) I never got around to finishing the prototypes. These ones are all prototypes so there is no guarantee that they will all be made available as sets. Sometimes they just don't work as designs and end up in 'The Pot of Shame'. I will 'announce the winners' soon.
